The Rhinoflex duckbill check valves are an exceedingly reliable and an excellent, economical alternative to flap-gate valves along with other check valves.  The Rhinoflex Duckbill Check valves are passive-reactive devices requiring no external mechanisms or source of energy to use. The Duckbill Check Valve is commonly closed and can react and open with as few as 1 inch of head pressure and try to provide maximum flow with minimal pressure drop over the valve. This ease of operation reduces standing water in sewer pipes where mosquitoes and other pests can thrive.
Their all-flexible construction will pass large objects without blockage yet offers exceptional back flow prevention and can even seal around trapped solids with less than 1 psi of back pressure.
Ideally, the conical concentric design permits the top flow hydraulics, and lowest pressure drops. These could handle quite well water volumes and weights and stop backflow very reliably and consistently, with no maintenance at all.
Typical applications are for Open Relieve flood control, water-waste water, storm water, flood water, right into a manhole, bubble-pit, pond, lake, dam, or sea.
They may also supply from the back flow prevention of Effluent ,Sewage, and Sewerage systems.
The duckbill check valves are used successfully in sub-sea applications like outfall diffuser systems, and in AIR Aeration, in SPARGE diffusers in Effluent Mixing tanks and slurry mixing systems.
